Apply to install a utility on, over, under or parallel to NPBL tracks and property — aerial wirelines, underground conduit, or pipelines.
Before you start. A non-refundable engineering review fee of $4,000 (payable to DesMarais Consulting LLC) applies once your application is accepted for review; parallel installations may require an additional quote. Submission does not guarantee acceptance. No construction activity — including staging of material or equipment — may occur until an agreement is issued by NPBL, all requirements are met, and fees are paid in full.
Engineering specifications. Pipeline drawings are reviewed against NSCE-8 and wireline drawings against NSCE-4. At minimum, provide a plan view, a profile (cross-section) view, and the applicable data sheet (pipe and/or conduit). Email those drawings with your application.
